Acharossan House

Acharossan House is a beautifully presented period house, tucked away in its own secluded location amongst 1200 acres of farmland and just over the hill from the tiny village of Kilfinan. Formerly, an 18th century Laird's house, it underwent a complete renovation whilst preserving the character and charm of the old and combining it with the ease of the new. It comfortably sleeps up to 11 people.

First impression as you enter the house is the bright, spacious feel and tasteful decor throughout. With a five star grading and five en-suite bedrooms - 2 doubles, one twin room, one bunk room, one single four poster, large open plan kitchen/conservatory with heated flagstone flooring, library with SkyTV, wifi, cosy sitting room and two open log fires, it's easy to unwind.

It is a sensational all year round holiday destination, with fabulous entertaining space ideal for larger parties wishing to enjoy a self catering holiday together in superb, unspoilt natural beauty. Choose to relax on the terrace enjoying the peace and quiet, play tennis in your own tennis court, BBQ the catch of the day, watch the children play or fill every day with a different activity or trip. Its location is the ideal base to relax with friends and family or venture out and explore all that there is on offer to do and see in this spectacular part of Argyll. You are assured of a wonderful comfortable stay here - the perfect tranquil retreat to return to at the end of a day exploring the countryside.

Please note that the house is situated on a working farm and the road is a farm track regularly used by tractors. The road is maintained and pot holes filled throughout the year but sometimes after heavy spells of rain extra care is recommended. 

Acharossan House can be let on its own or combined with any of our other cottages depending on the size of your party.
