Travelling by road via Loch Lomond:

• Take the A815  to the village of STRACHUR,  turn right at the junction signed for TIGHNABRUAICH (A886).
• Continue on the A886 through Glendaruel  approx. 15miles until you come to the junction signed for TIGHNABRUAICH – A8003.
• Turn right at junction on to the A8003 and follow road up and over the hill into TIGHNABRUAICH.
• At the T junction with The Royal Hotel on your right, turn right and follow road until you come to the cross roads with The Kames Post Office on your right, turn right, up the hill and over into the tiny hamlet of MILLHOUSE.
• At the cross roads in MILLHOUSE, turn right on to the B8000 signed for KILFINAN.
• Continue along this road for approx. 5 miles.
• Look out for a sign on LEFT hand side of road, which reads “ARDMARNOCH”. The road end for ACHAROSSAN is opposite side of the road. Turn right on to farm road and at cattle grid you will see Acharossan sign.
• Follow farm road for approx. 1½ miles.

P.S.  If you travel by Western Ferry to Hunters Quay, nr Dunoon:

• Follow signs through Sandbank and over the  B836 road, into Glendaruel and follow above directions from the junction on to the B8003.

• At the cross roads in MILLHOUSE, turn right on to the B8000 signed for KILFINAN.

• Look out for a sign on LEFT hand side of road, which reads “ARDMARNOCH”. The turn off for INVERYNE COTTAGE is on the same side of the road just a little bit further on (no longer than a mile). As you approach the road end after you cross the bridge, you will see the sign and wheelie bins on the left. Turn left off the main road and follow farm road just passed the tennis court on the right. The track up to the cottage is on your right.
• There is one gate to open. Please always close it behind you to keep the sheep out.

• Follow signs through Sandbank and over the  B836 road , into Glendaruel  and follow above directions from the junction on to the B8003.

• Look out for a sign on LEFT hand side of road, which reads “ARDMARNOCH”. The turn off for LILYBANK is on the same side of the road just a little bit further on (no longer than ½ a mile). As you approach the road end you can see the cottage down on the left hand side. There is a sign on the fence that you will see as you turn off.
• There are two gates to open. Please always leave them the way you find them. There may be sheep or cows in that field.

P.S.  If you travel by WESTERN FERRY to Hunters Quay, near Dunoon:

• Follow signs through Sandbank and over the  B836 road , into Glendaruel  and follow above directions from the junction on to the B8003.

• At the T junction with "The Royal Hotel" on your right, turn LEFT and follow road until you come to the village, with shops etc on your right, continue on this road, passed the pier until you come to a road/track up to the LEFT between two houses. One of the houses has a sign on the wall called "SHERBROOKE", (the other house did and may still have an estate agent's For Sale sign).
• Drive up the track and Craigard is first turn off to the right.
